Clementina graduated from the University of Catania in Italy, completed specialist training in general paediatrics and sub-specialised in paediatric endocrinology focusing on the endocrine care of the young adult with most of her core training based in a tertiary paediatric and adult endocrine practice at University College Hospital.
For the last 10 years Clementina has been working for the department of Adult and Reproductive Endocrinology at University College Hospital and she has been involved in a new project documenting long term consequences of disorders of reproductive development that was launched in 2014.
Clementina has developed a strong interest in the long term care of patients with chronic hormonal disorders gaining expertise in the use of hormonal replacement along with nutrition and lifestyle interventions to address different endocrine conditions. Aiming to find an integrated approach to improve patient’s health and quality of life, Clementina complemented her training with further education in Nutrition (PGCert Nutrition and Public Health, UCL 2012) and has been trained and is a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM 2017).
